FORT LEE, Va. – Fort Lee will honor 29 Battle of the Bulge veterans during a tribute ceremony Saturday at the Logistics Memorial here.
The ceremony will include a wreath laying to honor the estimated 19,000 soldiers killed during the historic World War II battle, which is described by the United States Army Center of Military History as arguably the single biggest and bloodiest battles American soldiers have ever fought.

WHEN: 4:15 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 15 (media should plan to arrive 30 minutes early)
WHERE: Logistics Memorial, CASCOM Headquarters, Fort Lee
Before the tribute, the veterans and their family members will visit several Combined Arms Support Command training areas, the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum and the U.S. Army Women’s Museum in addition to meeting with Brig. Gen. Kurt J. Ryan, the Chief of Ordnance.
